We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional App and our content and services.
b) Legal Basis for Processing
The legal basis for our data processing is:
- Consent: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, for cases where you have given us your explicit consent for a specific processing purpose.
- Contract Performance: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, for processing necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party (e.g., your user account).
- Legal Obligation: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, for processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.
- Legitimate Interests: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, for processing necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.

When you use our App, our servers automatically collect and store information that your device transmits. This data may include:

This data is not merged with other data sources. The processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in ensuring the technical stability, security, and functionality of our App.
b) User Account / Registration
To use Couple Space, you must create a user account. During registration, we collect the following mandatory data:
- Name
- Email address
- Password (which is immediately hashed and stored in a non-readable format)
This data is used exclusively to provide you with the functionalities of your user account, to manage your relationship with us, and to ensure the secure operation of our service. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
4. Use of Third-Party Services and SDKs
We do not integrate third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) for analytics, advertising, or crash reporting within the App itself. However, to provide our service, we may use external service providers for backend infrastructure (e.g., hosting, databases). These providers are carefully selected and operate as data processors on our behalf under strict contractual agreements (Data Processing Agreements, DPAs) in compliance with Art. 28 GDPR.
