How to Request Deletion

You have two simple options to permanently delete your account and data:

Method 1: Deletion via Email (Recommended)

To ensure the request is legitimate, please send an email from the address you used to sign up for your Couple Space account.

1. Open your email client.
2. Compose a new email to contact@couple-space.org.
3. Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
4. You can leave the body of the email empty or simply state that you wish to delete your account.
5. Send the email. We will process your request promptly upon verification of the email address.

Method 2: Deletion from within the App or Web

You can directly delete your account from the settings menu, which is the fastest way to remove your data.

1. Open the Couple Space app on your device or log in on the web.
2. Navigate to the "Settings" or "Account" screen.
3. Find the "Delete Account" option.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion. This action is immediate and irreversible.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When your account deletion is processed, the following actions are taken:

Data That Is Permanently Deleted

We believe in complete data removal. Upon deletion, all of your personal and user-generated data is permanently erased from our production servers. No data is kept. This includes:

• Your Name
• Your Email Address
• Your Hashed Password
• Any and all other content you have created or stored within the app.

Data Retention

There is no additional retention period for your data once the deletion process is complete. The action is final and your data cannot be recovered.
